Taking firm control

What image comes to your mind when you think of a person who has taken firm control of their leadership?

If we are truly appointed by God to be leaders, and I believe that we all are, then by accepting the call and the Word of God to that calling, a leader would move forward with incredible strength because that calling would be their support.

So as a leader – what is our first move to show every person we are leading that we are in control?

Trust me, your choice will be one that no other leader would choose to do – give up your control and turn it over to God.  Freaks everybody out – did it twice this week and blew the competition away – gotta love it!

I choose to follow God, trusting His call, choosing to walk with His wisdom, wealth and strength.

Start with a public visit before the throne of God and bring everyone along with you.  Show everyone that pursuing things that do not matter will bring disappointment every time; while those that refer themselves to the providence of God, if they have not the most, have the most comfort.

Those that make this finite world their end, come short of the other, and are disappointed; but those that make the eternal world their end, shall not only obtain that, and full satisfaction in it, but shall have as much of this world as is good for them.

Let us then be content, without the need for power that is not ours anyway and definitely not something worth coveting.  Being content in who we are in God gives us incredible control.

good read…..I have been finding that when we surrender to God..we don’t lose….we instead gain the purest form of freedom that can only come with complete surrender to and dependence on God. Thanks for these wise words today!
