I am most beautiful
You have to admit that she is a beauty, isn’t she…
Well, problem with beautiful things, just with things in general, they find a way to self-destruct.
I love my wife, but she saves the best desserts, best candy, best snacks – just in case guests come over. You and I both know it – those things end up past their due date, or with white film around them or just plain do not smell proper and get thrown out – uneaten.
Beautiful we are, created in God’s image we know, special and peculiar to an extent for sure. We have friends that like us, family that have to like us, maybe we are married to that special someone who loves us, most blessed if you have a pet that loves you unconditionally – that rules out goldfish immediately – and the deepest sense of peace, knowing that God loves us so much, He sent His Son to save us from destruction.
When that knowledge of who you are turns into pride, that is when the warning lights start flashing. Remember the God who whispers…that’s all He is doing…and pride usually doesn’t allow for a great listening ear. What happens next is destruction and we wonder why.
Keep being beautiful, do not lose who you are in Christ, He has made you special and wonderful. May you always know that your beauty comes from having your Father’s eyes and nothing else matters much.
